Great beach access but room issues

I really appreciated the location right on Alona Beach, made for convenient access to the sand and nearby activities. The room was comfortable and clean, with a great internet connection. I was disappointed that the restaurant service was inconsistent, and I expected a bit more from the dining experience considering the location. I found it frustrating that the happy hour deal for cocktails wasn't honored as advertised.

Great view and location. Highly recommend this hotel and really enjoyed my stay. I do not have one negative thing to say about the Hayahay Resort, but I have mentioned that it had small rooms (on Panglao Island you really don't spend too much time in the room).

Small rooms

The location was superb, right by the beach, and the homemade organic bites at the nearby Pyramid Restaurant were pure magic. I also loved how quick the staff was to resolve any hiccup with my room. They really put in the effort!

Consider trying local eateries nearby for authentic Filipino cuisine at better prices, as the resort's food may not satisfy all palettes.

A work desk, cable channels, and a seating area in our double room were useful during stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the nice bathroom here.

The hotel was an amazing base for enjoying a coastal area, next to restaurant choices and dive shops, Panglao, and the beautiful white sand beach of Alona. It had central location close to Tarsier Boutique.

Air conditioning functional, safe present

Uncomfortable bed with lumpy pillows and sheets that didn't fit properly. Broken toilet unable to manage toilet paper, requiring disposal in a bin. No hot water , unreliable shower heater that dripped constantly. TV operational issues with confusing remotes. Only two small water bottles provided daily with no kettle for hot drinks. Breakfast not available until 7:30 AM, not good for early risers.

Eco price for an excellent location on the center of the beach, convenient and entertaining. Room space is big and comfortable. Just a little noizy of the air-con.

Woudl ve been nice if the toilet in my room woudl flush properly, but I guess that's asking for too much. And the bed, let's talk about that lumpy disaster, I struggled to get a decent night's sleep. I almost gave a good review if only I'd been compensated for the absolute terrible experience.

Very well located with great value for money. The room was very comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly.

Hotel did not include a hairdryer and to use it they wanted to charge us php 150. Also, be aware that they charge 5% extra if you use credit card to pay for the hotel. Not cool especially this was not mentioned anywhere on Booked.net on hayahay page. Every other hotel in the vicinity had a pool except this hotel. My wife found a dead cockroach in the bathroom and one live one near the bed. Enjoy your stay!

Great beachfront location! The room is spacious and has a functional minibar. The staff were really helpful, especially in carrying our luggage. Breakfast at the nearby Pyramid restaurant was a highlight. The water closet height was uncomfortable for shorter guests. I found no kettle in the room, and the food at the hotel was average with limited vegetarian options. Wifi was inconsistent, made planning our days a bit tricky.

The location is very good, just in front of the beach.

The hotel was clean, but we had some ants in the bathroom. The staff is nice, but you always need to re-check what you have ordered or booked.
